Our writers are volunteers who share our passion for empowering and liberating black families, communities and individuals.
Candidates should have a strong command of the English language, the ability to correct grammatical and spelling errors before your final submission and have some knowledge of online writing.
The ideal candidate will have:

- Strong initiative
- Great time management skills
Our Authors and contributors are allowed to post a byline with their online article including a link to a website, blog or social media platform. Authors will have the ability to customize their online profile which will be visible to our audience. This will help increase traffic back to your personal website and increase your following on social media sites. Writers maintain all rights to the content submitted for publication. However, your voluntary submission grants us permission to publish any work sent to or uploaded to our network and website and share it with the Dope Black Woman audience. We have the right to approve or disapprove any submission.
We will never republish your work without your written consent.
Dope Black Woman is a great platform for those seeking to gain experience writing. Authors set their own writing schedule, but must submit at least two blog posts per month.
